Our Brokers and Sales Staff

   Jim McLaren/Broker

Jim started as a salesman with the company in 1970 and in 1982 purchased the company along with Tad Fujita.  Jim has been the Broker/General Manager for the last 31 years. His client base features a majority of customers who have purchased multiple boats from him through the years.  Jim and his family has cruised extensively though-out Mexico and the Pacific Northwest for over 40 years.

   Morrie Kirk/Broker, CPYB

Morrie is a well know Yachtsman, growing up in Newport Beach and boating since age 3.  He has been in boat sales for more than 20 years.  Having raced and cruised extensively from Mexico to San Francisco and in the Pacific Northwest. He is past president of the California Yacht Brokers Association and past commodore of the Balboa Yacht Club and the Southern California Yachting Association.

   Paul Enghauser/Broker

Paul has been active in the boating life since he grew up in Minnesota, he has been with OCY for 8 years.  He has been involved in all aspects of his clients boating experience from building large yachts to marketing and purchasing of quality brokerage vessels.  As a broker and member of CYBA Paul’s first actions with any client are to ensure that he fully understands what his clients expect when buying or selling a yacht and then meeting those expectations.

I have been around the Ocean and large power boats and sail boats all my life in the Pacific Northwest and California.  I’m living in my NEW dream job and meeting exciting customers and people who want to enjoy the waterways around the world.  I am so happy to be part of the team at Orange Coast Yachts and the wonderful brands we take to market.

   Stephen Stuckey/Alameda 

 I have been helping people both buy and sell yachts since the early 80′s in both Southern and Northern California.  I moved to the Bay area in 1989.  I grew up boating all over Lake Erie and into Canada back int he 50′s, and have cruised from Vancouver BC to Mexico mostly delivery yachts that I sold, or on occasion helping friends and customers.

    Steve Lee/Alameda

Steve has been around water all his life either in a pool competing or on a boat out in the Ocean Blue. Having lived and boated in all four corners of the U.S. from the Pacific Northwest to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, to the InterCoastal Waterways and Beaches of Southeast Florida, and the Beach and Boat Communities of Avila, Redondo, and Huntington Beach, California. Wherever there is water you will find Steve. A former U.S. Coast Guardsman who served both in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans aboard USCG Search and Rescue Vessels from 41’-95’. A retired Sporting Goods Manufacturer and Executive who has sat on and chaired numerous Executive Business Boards, Local and National Charity Organizations, and a former Ambassador to the San Francisco and Walnut Creek Chambers of Commerce.  Steve is a Lifetime Member to the University of California Berkeley Alumni Association and former U.S. National Water Polo Champion who looks forward to selling and serving your needs towards adventure, excitement, and fun in the Boating World.

Tom Waugh/Manager Seattle

Tom, a Seattle native, grew up along the shores of Lake Washington and has enjoyed a number of years viewing the splendor of the San Juan Islands. A former General Manager for Ocean Alexander Yachts, Tom has built and sold boats to people throughout the Northwest and Canada. His travels to Asia have garnered him many friends in the boating industry and beyond. He is excited and proud to be the newest member of the Orange Coast Yachts team.

Roderick Roy

My passion for boats started at a very young age. Coming from my homeland in theFijiIslands, one of the main means of transportation is by boats. Boating and water sports are a natural passion for me. Growing up I accompanied my Dad to see our company boats under construction which was always fun and exciting. After completing my sailing license 100 ton master & mate for Fiji Coastal waters I was actively involved in the family business, Bay Cruises & Island Water Sports. The company had exclusive water sports concessions for Sheraton Resorts, Trendwest World Mark Resort on Denarau Island and Vomo Island. While studying in Auckland, New Zealand I was exposed to high end yachts and the boating lifestyle. Having worked for several 5 Star resorts in the Fiji Islands as an Activities Director my personal interaction and communication with people around the globe has been an attribute to my career. Moving to Seattle in 2003 my passion for boating led me to join a Sunseeker dealer. Working in the service dept I was promoted to sales as the Pre Owned Boat manager and full time sales.  In 2012 I was involved in opening Marquis & Carver Yacht Center in Seattle. With my excellent customer service background working for world renowned resort destinations and dealing with elite clientele such as executives of Microsoft, Amazon, Nordstrom, Macy’s and Boeing to name a few, I genuinely take pride in assisting with a client’s yacht for sale or purchase.  It is a privilege to be part of the Orange Coast Yacht team and further my boating passion into a career.
